How to cancel the booking as per Korean Air Cancellation Policy?

1. Start the process of Korean Air Cancellation by going to the official site of the Korean Air 
2. Locate the “Manage bookings” or “My flights” tab on the site and click on it to open 
3. Now choose the ticket that you want to cancel from the list in front of you 
4. Hit the option of “Cancel” at the end of the page
5. You might have to verify your action selected by choosing “Yes” or “Ok” to perform the cancellation further
   
6. Now you will get a notification in the form of a message or email from the airline about the cancellation you have made. 
7. The airline will credit you amount in ten business days only after the deduction of the cancellation fee from your refund amount
8. Once the cancellation fee is deducted you will get the remaining value in your respective bank account.
9. Congratulations, your cancellation with Korean Air is successful. 

Guidelines as per Korean Air Cancellation Policy:

The below-mentioned rules are set as per Korean Air Cancellation Policy and are applicable to all the passengers that perform the cancellation with Korean Airlines.

1. Please note that the Refund Service and Refund Penalty Charges are spared only if the refund requests are applied before 91 days or more before the departure of the flight.
2. The passengers that have a combination of fares need to note that the most limiting law will be applied to them.
3. In case the itinerary of the passneger is not originated from Korea, then the refund fine will be applied despite the time of refund request. 
4. Long Haul: Europe, Oceania, America, Africa
5. Medium Haul: Tashkent, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia
6. Short Haul: Hong Kong, Japan, Ulaanbaatar, Korea, Irkutsk, Vladivostok

The passengers who are performing the cancellation within the initial 24 hours after the purchase will not have to pay the cancellation charge as per the Korean Air Cancellation Policy. Although the passengers that cross this time condition will have to pay the cancellation fee. It is best for the passneger to make the cancellation in this stipulated time frame to avoid the fee. Some of the passengers think that their cancellation fee will only be dependent on the type of ticket they purchase from the airline but they are not aware that this is a misconception. After the application is received by the airline it will credit your refund value within ten business days. You need to note that the airline will deduct the cancellation fee from the amount and the remaining amount will be credited.
